The challenge: showing how he teaches, not just what he can do
Marco Sammuri, a golf instructor, needed a presentation that would show both his skills on the course and the way he works with students. A paper resume wasn’t enough: clubs and academies want to know how you explain things to a beginner and how you demonstrate a shot.
The goal was a clean, professional introduction video for a golf instructor, to send to clubs and share online, speaking with Marco’s own voice and face.
The solution for the introduction video: plan, shoot where he works, edit with care
A short script
With Marco we decided what to say, in what order and which skills to show. An essential script keeps the video focused and shortens its length.
Filming on the course
We shot on the golf course, the place where Marco really works. For filming we used a Sony Alpha 7 IV on a Manfrotto Befree Advanced carbon tripod: sharp images in changing outdoor light and quick moves around the course.
A teleprompter for natural delivery
To help Marco look into the camera without performing, we used a 12.9″ iPad Pro as a teleprompter: he followed the text without memorizing it and the result sounds like a conversation.
Shots and editing
Close-ups while he speaks, wider frames when he shows technique. The edit in Adobe Premiere Pro selected the best takes, cleaned up the audio, balanced the colours and added simple titles.
What we delivered
- a short, polished video suited to LinkedIn, email, website and social media;
- files ready for the web and for sharing;
- a structure that can be reused for other introduction videos.
What made the difference
Three choices made the introduction video effective: shooting at the workplace, using a teleprompter to keep the tone natural and editing only what’s needed. The video doesn’t explain everything: it makes you want to meet the person. That’s why every second has a reason to be there and the ending clearly shows how to contact Marco.
A well-made introduction video stays useful for years: it can be updated with a few new shots instead of starting over from scratch.
The result for Marco
Marco now has a tool that presents him better than any written page: his way of teaching can be seen and heard. It’s easy to send to a club, publish on a website or link with a QR code to a printed resume.
You can watch the result directly from the link on the project page.
